When transporting roundwood, in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 343, which limits the full mass of road transport (with special permits) to 52t on Latvian roads, the timber volume that can be loaded in a single shipment is restricted.

The loadable cargo volume varies significantly. It depends on the species, season, sortiment, sortiment length and diameter. The volume of one load that can be loaded is indicated in the table (approximate values).
